This information is transmitted to and stored by Formspree, Inc., our third-party form processing provider.

We do not collect payment information directly. We do not require you to create an account to use the site.

Information collected automatically

When you visit barsforkings.com, our web server logs standard access information: your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this data in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not sell or share individual server log data.

Formspree data handling

All forms on barsforkings.com post to Formspree, Inc. (formspree.io). When you submit a form, Formspree receives your submission data including your email address and any fields you completed. Formspree stores this data on our behalf and sends it to our inbox. Their privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

We access your submission data only to respond to your inquiry or process your request. We do not retain form submission data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and use it to send you our weekly editorial email. We send one email per week, on Thursdays. We do not send marketing emails, re-engagement campaigns, or promotional messages outside of the newsletter.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email. On unsubscribing, your email address is removed from our list within 5 business days.

Third-party links

barsforkings.com links to bar websites, reservation platforms, and other external sites. These links leave our site and are subject to the privacy policies of those sites. We are not responsible for their content or data practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any site you visit through a link on our pages.

We use the Unsplash CDN (images.unsplash.com) to serve photography. When your browser loads these images, Unsplash may log the request. Unsplash's privacy policy is available at unsplash.com/privacy.

Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to request correction of any inaccurate data, and to request deletion of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@barsforkings.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

We cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted over the internet, but we apply industry-standard protections to the data we control.

Children

barsforkings.com is a guide to bars and licensed premises. It is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
